Illustration projects are coming to Moriqa

Moriqa will get illustration projects for game art that has to scale: vector shapes, paths and text on artboards, exported as SVG or as crisp PNG at any size.

They are not in the editor yet. Pixel art comes first, and the roadmap shows the order.

In detail

How Moriqa fits your workflow

What illustration projects will do

Illustration projects will sit beside pixel sprites in the same editor and the same project file, so a game's icons, UI and key art can live with its sprites.

  • Artboards for each asset, at any size
  • Shapes, a pen tool for paths, and text
  • Export to SVG, and to PNG at any scale
  • Components shared with pixel projects, once components arrive

What you can use today

The pixel art editor is ready for sprites, tiles and icons, with frame animation and engine exports. For vector files you already have, the free SVG to PNG converter turns them into sharp PNGs at any size.
