Precise crops in seconds

  • Every common ratio

Square, 4:5, 3:2, 16:9, 9:16 or the original shape, with the box locked while you drag.

  • Circle profile pictures

Crop into a circle with transparent corners, ready for avatars and profile photos.

  • Pixel-exact

Type the width, height and position when a crop has to be exactly right.

  • Full quality

Cropping keeps the original pixels, so nothing is resized or blurred.

In detail

Crop for profiles, posts and prints

Pick the right ratio

  • 1:1 square: profile pictures, Instagram posts and product photos.
  • 4:5 portrait: Instagram posts that take up more of the feed.
  • 16:9 widescreen: YouTube thumbnails, presentations and desktop wallpapers.
  • 9:16 tall: Instagram Stories, Reels and TikTok.
  • 3:2: classic photo prints such as 6 × 4 inches.

Make a circle profile picture

Choose Circle to crop a round image. The corners outside the circle are saved as transparent, so the picture sits cleanly on any background. Save as PNG or WebP to keep that transparency.

Crop to exact pixels

When a website asks for an image of an exact size, type the width and height into Size and position. Move the box to choose which part of the photo to keep; with a ratio selected, the other side follows automatically.

Frequently asked questions

How do I crop an image into a circle?

Add your image, choose Circle under Shape, drag the circle over the part you want and download. The corners are transparent in the PNG.

How do I crop a photo to a square?

Choose the 1:1 ratio. The crop box stays square while you move and resize it.

Does cropping reduce the image quality?

No. The pixels you keep are saved exactly as they were. Save as PNG for a perfect copy, or JPG or WebP for a smaller file.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Cropping happens entirely in your browser, on your own device. Your image is never sent to Moriqa or anyone else.

Can I crop iPhone HEIC photos?

Yes. HEIC, JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and TIFF images all open, and you can save the crop as PNG, JPG or WebP.
