Add a Watermark to Photos

Put your name or your logo on one photo or a whole shoot: in a corner, in the middle or repeated across the picture, as faint or as strong as you like. Your photos never leave your device.

How it works

How to add a watermark

  1. Step 1: Add your photos

Choose or drop one photo or a whole shoot. JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more all work.

  2. Step 2: Make your mark

Type your name or choose your logo, then pick where it goes and how strong it is.

  3. Step 3: Download

Save each photo, or the whole batch as one ZIP, with the same watermark on every one.

Protect your photos, keep them yours

  • Text or logo

Your name, your website or your logo, in any colour, size and strength.

  • Corner or across

Put it in one of nine places, or repeat it across the whole photo so it can’t be cropped out.

  • Whole shoots at once

The same watermark, in the same place, on every photo of a batch.

  • Never uploaded

Photos are watermarked in your browser. Our own logo is never added.

In detail

Watermarks that work

Text or logo

Text

Type your name, your studio or your website. Choose its colour and size; a soft shadow keeps it readable on both light and dark parts of a photo.

Logo

Choose your logo, ideally a PNG with a transparent background, and set how wide it is compared with the photo. It is scaled to every photo, large or small, so it always looks the same.

Where to put it

A corner watermark signs a photo without getting in the way: bottom right is the usual place. Set the margin so it doesn’t touch the edge.

Repeat across the photo puts the mark over the whole picture at an angle. It is much harder to crop or retouch away, which is what you want for proofs and previews that are shared before they are paid for.

Tips for a good watermark

  • Keep it small and faint on photos you share to show your work, so the picture stays the subject.
  • Use a stronger, repeated watermark on proofs and previews.
  • Keep the original, unwatermarked photos: a watermark is part of the picture once it is added.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a watermark to many photos at once?

Add all the photos, set up the watermark once, and every photo gets it in the same place. Download them one by one or together as a ZIP.

Can I use my logo as a watermark?

Yes. Choose Logo, pick your logo file and set its size and opacity. A PNG with a transparent background looks best.

Will you add your own watermark?

No. The only mark on your photos is the one you add.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The watermark is added in your browser, on your own device. Your photos are never sent to Moriqa or anyone else.

Does it lower the quality of my photos?

Photos keep their full size. Saving as JPG or WebP compresses them a little, as any photo editor does; choose High quality or PNG to keep the most detail.

Can I remove the watermark later?

Not from the downloaded photo: the watermark becomes part of the picture. Keep your originals so you can make new versions any time.

Want to edit the photos too?
